The press secretary of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Hayk Kostanyan, made a post stating: "Yesterday, after a tour aimed at combating street trade in the Avan administrative district, some media outlets published reports claiming that city hall employees had overturned the goods of the vendors onto the ground. With this short video, I want to show who really did what. Reminder: Street trade is prohibited in the capital. Fines are imposed, and goods can be confiscated," Kostanyan wrote.

It is worth noting that earlier we reported that to prevent cases of illegal outdoor trading, the Trade and Services Department of Yerevan City Hall conducted a verification visit in the Avan administrative district together with relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
