Mr. Trump Is Not the Entire Elite of the U.S. – Russian Foreign Ministry

In time, Donald Trump, the candidate nominated by the Republican Party for the presidency, will understand the inevitability of Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposals regarding Ukraine, regardless of his future status, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.

“First of all, Mr. Trump is not the entire elite of the United States. Secondly, I can hardly imagine what the elite looks like in the U.S. today. I believe that we are dealing with a deep state and those political figures who have decided or are currently deciding their course. Therefore, the time will come, and Mr. Trump, regardless of what his status will be in the future, will realize the inevitability of what President Putin has proposed,” Ryabkov told reporters.

Earlier, during a televised debate, former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he finds the conditions put forward by Russian leader Vladimir Putin for ending the conflict in Ukraine unacceptable.
