During the first televised debate in the presidential race, U.S. President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump mentioned Russian President Vladimir Putin 14 times.

According to calculations by RIA Novosti, the politicians referenced the Russian president seven times each throughout the 90-minute debate. The agency also noted that Biden never uttered the word 'Russia' during the debate, while Trump mentioned the country's name 16 times.
