VIDEO: Drone Attack on Russian Fuel Production Plant
On the night of June 27, drones targeted the Redkinsky Experimental Plant in the Tver region of Russia, which produces aviation fuel. This has been reported by Russian media.
The plant is located approximately 500 km from the Ukrainian border. Eyewitnesses stated that the drones struck the target. Some released videos show a drone flying in the sky, and moments later, an explosion can be heard.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that four drones were shot down over the region, but did not mention any damage to the facility.
The Redkinsky Experimental Plant is one of the oldest enterprises in Russia’s chemical industry, producing products for the aviation and space industries, particularly dicyclopentadiene for aviation fuel.
Last year, a kamikaze drone also attacked this facility, resulting in injuries from the impact according to the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
