We Will Not Force Ukraine to Surrender Any Territory: Kirbi

The current administration of the White House is not planning to force Ukraine to make territorial concessions to Russia. This was stated by John Kirbi, the coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, as reported by TASS.

“U.S. President Joe Biden believes that any decision regarding negotiations should, frankly speaking, be made by President Vladimir Zelensky and Ukraine. We are not going to force Ukraine to surrender any territory,” said Kirbi.

Previously, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, claimed that the initiative of the Alternative for Germany party to establish a “sovereign” group in the European Parliament, which will call for negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv, reflects the realistic approach of European voters.

On June 23, Spiegel reported that the Alternative for Germany party intends to found a group called “Sovereignists” in the European Parliament, advocating for the normalization of relations with Russia and liberation from EU hegemony.

In May, all representatives of the AfD were removed from the Identity and Democracy group due to scandals surrounding AfD politician Maximilian Kra.

Since then, the Alternative for Germany party has been looking for options to form alternative alliances in the European Parliament.
