Isaac Karanyan Undergoes Second Surgery

Isaac Karanyan's wife has announced on her Facebook page: “Isaac’s second surgery has been completed. He is already awake and in his room. As I mentioned before, the main focus was on his right hand. The base of the index finger, which the doctors had tried to salvage, unfortunately, was not viable; it has been removed. They also removed some dead tissue. There is an open wound on this right hand that will need to be closed with plastic surgery after some time. Skin grafting is most likely to be necessary.

Additionally, another fragment has been removed from his chest area today. The other wounds in this area are healing rapidly. His condition is stable, we are strong.”

It is worth noting that on June 12, clashes broke out between police and members and supporters of the “Tavush for the Homeland” movement near the building of the National Assembly. The police used flashbang grenades, resulting in injuries to 101 individuals, including police officers.
