NATO is currently a hostile alliance for Russia. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

NATO has confirmed Mark Rutte for the position of the alliance's next Secretary General for the upcoming four years.

“It is unlikely that this election will be able to change the overall line of NATO, which is currently working towards strategically pressuring the Russian Federation. At this moment, this is a hostile alliance for us,” Peskov said.
