VIDEO. The disgraceful state of road paving in the city will not allow any transport to withstand it, Sukiasyan

The proposal to delay the increase in transport fares is yet another alarm signal for Yerevan residents, and the authorities must focus their attention on the numerous black holes present. Manuk Sukiasyan, the leader of the "Mother Armenia" faction, stated this during today's Yerevan City Council session on June 25.

"During the discussions, we became convinced that current tariffs can be maintained, and it's even possible to have a much more affordable rate, because the black holes and shadows that exist within 'Yerevan Bus' are undeniable. These black holes also became evident during the tender for purchasing GPS systems. There were publications in the press indicating that those GPS units were purchased at 1.5 times the regular price. We are dealing with classic wastefulness here.

What kind of buses do you want to bring in if the shock absorbers of those buses are flawless, made of cotton, and the disgraceful road paving trend in the city won't allow any transport to withstand it?" Sukiasyan added.
