UN Notifies Israel About Plans to Halt Humanitarian Operations in Gaza

UN officials have informed the Israeli side about plans to halt humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip until the security situation improves. This is reported by the Associated Press.

In a letter sent to Israeli officials, UN representatives demanded, among other things, a "direct line" between the international organization's personnel and the Israeli military operating in the Gaza Strip.

While UN humanitarian operations continue, both sides are engaged in negotiations. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an attack on Israel. In response, Israeli forces began military operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
