Nothing Should Be Brought When Enlisting in the Armed Forces, Says Defense Official

Nothing should be brought when enlisting in the armed forces, as the Ministry of Defense ensures all necessary needs are met. This was stated in an interview with the media service of the Ministry of Defense by Aren Sargsyan, the acting head of the conscription and mobilization service.

“For years, there have been instances where parents accompanied conscripts to the army with some necessary items; however, in this case, we can only advise using those items on that day or the next. Upon arrival at the military unit, the need for personal hygiene items may not be felt,” he said.

Sargsyan noted that the process of outfitting conscripts has begun at the republican assembly point, and they are departing for military units equipped with military uniforms. The head of the conscription and mobilization service emphasized that the clothing for conscripts will be received in sealed bags from their relatives at the military commissariats.
