The West is Determined to Fight Until the Last Ukrainian: Ushakov

The West is determined to fight until the last Ukrainian, stated Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to the President of Russia, commenting on the refusal of Western countries to accept Russian President Vladimir Putin's peace initiatives regarding the Ukrainian conflict.

In his speech at the 'Primakov Readings' forum, Ushakov noted that Putin's peace proposals "would open the opportunity to end the armed confrontation and move it into the political-diplomatic realm."

"But the West does not listen to us and is determined to fight until the last Ukrainian," Ushakov stated at the conference.
