Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Addresses the Nation and Calls for Voter Participation
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has addressed the nation, urging active participation in the upcoming presidential elections. The speech was broadcast on SNN television.
“Everyone who is interested in a strong Iran should participate in the elections,” Khamenei stated. He emphasized that the active participation of the population in the elections is “one of the ways to defeat the enemy.”
As noted by the Supreme Leader, the upcoming elections will be a “test for Iranians,” and the people must show high turnout to “silence all skeptics.”
It is noteworthy that snap presidential elections in Iran have been scheduled for June 28. From the 80 individuals who submitted documents to participate in the presidential race, the Guardians Council has selected only 6 candidates.
