Ali Bagheri Kani on Tehran's Cooperation with Neighbors

Tehran will continue to enhance relations with regional countries, stated Ali Bagheri Kani, the acting Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the 19th Ministerial Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue. The meeting saw the participation of 41 foreign delegations, including foreign ministers and representatives from Asian countries and secretaries-general of international organizations.

He recalled that Tehran is currently developing its relations, particularly with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. He emphasized, 'The more regional countries cooperate in various fields, the less external forces will intervene. Tehran's cooperation with its neighbors can secure the interests of Iran and the people of the region,' added Bagheri Kani.
