Dispute After Car Accident Leaves Three Stabbed Hospitalized: Details
On June 23, a stabbing incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:10, operational information was received at the community police department of the Erevan Police Station regarding a dispute near 22 Sari Tagh 3rd Street, during which three individuals were stabbed, according to Shamshyan.com.
Shortly after, at around 22:05, a report was received at the Erevan Police Station from the "Erebuni" Medical Center that an emergency medical team had transported a 20-year-old resident of Yerevan, Narek M., for treatment due to the stabbing from Sari Tagh.
Minutes later, the same medical center reported that based on the injured individual's statement, a 21-year-old Edmond M. from Yerevan was also brought in for treatment after falling at the same location.
By approximately 23:30, the Heratsi University Hospital No. 1 notified the Erevan Police Station that an emergency medical team had transported a 23-year-old Levon H. from Yerevan for treatment under unknown circumstances from Sari Tagh.
Utilizing the operational data received in the Erevan Police Station, the criminal investigation and community police departments jointly conducted measures and determined that on the same day at around 21:00, a 38-year-old Vigen G. had collided with a "Mercedes" vehicle while driving his "Volkswagen Vento". Following the accident, a dispute erupted between the driver of the aforementioned vehicle, Narek M., and passengers Edmond M. and Levon H., during which Vigen G. stabbed them with a knife, causing bodily injury.
The police are taking measures to locate Vigen G. and the weapon used in the crime. Documentation has been prepared on the incident at the Erevan Police Station and has been forwarded to the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan Investigative Department for the administrative districts of Erevan and Nubarashen, where a criminal proceeding has been initiated.
