Israeli Soldiers Tie Wounded Palestinian to Car Hood and Drive Away
Israeli soldiers have tied a wounded Palestinian to the hood of an armored military jeep in Jenin, a Palestinian town on the west bank of the Jordan River, which has a population of around 35,000. Relevant footage has circulated on social media, including Israeli platforms.
According to the military's statement, the incident occurred during an operation to apprehend Palestinians, where Israeli soldiers opened fire after coming under attack. However, there has been no response within Israel to the question of what exactly the Israeli army was doing in the Palestinian city. As a result, the detained suspect was wounded.
Later, the soldiers placed the injured young man on the car's engine cover. Relatives of the Palestinian have stated that they requested the Israeli soldiers to hand the injured person over to the emergency medical team, but the soldiers instead tied him to the hot hood and drove off.
Subsequently, Israeli media reported that the soldiers had aimed to assist the wounded individual by transporting him to a medical facility without waiting for an ambulance. However, it remains unclear where exactly the injured Palestinian was ultimately taken. Reports indicate that, as of the latest information, he has not contacted his relatives, raising concerns about his survival after such a transfer.
Footage shows an ambulance arriving at the scene before the Palestinian was transported on the hood of the armored vehicle.
