Explosion at Checkpoint of Famous Hotel Complex in Agveran; Casulty Reported

An explosion occurred today, June 23, in the Kotayk region. Around 07:30, an explosion took place at the checkpoint of the "Ararat Resort" hotel complex in Agveran. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to a photojournalist at the scene, one person was rushed to the National Burns Center in Yerevan as a result of the explosion. A fire and rescue squad dispatched one combat unit to the site.

The blast shattered windows, and the individual transported to the hospital is reported to be a security staff member of the hotel complex.

The police station in Charentsavan has initiated documentation concerning the incident, where the cause of the explosion is being investigated, along with the identity of the injured individual. It is possible that the documents will be transferred to the Charentsavan Investigation Department of the Kotayk Regional Investigation Committee.
