Ukrainians to Use Electricity for No More Than Four Hours a Day This Winter: CNN

Ukrainians will be able to use electricity for no more than four hours a day this winter if authorities do not take action to restore the energy system, said Dmitry Sakharuk, the CEO of the Ukrainian DTEK energy holding.

The interviewee mentioned that it is also necessary to improve the throughput of interconnectors and to construct distributed generation plants in at least several locations.

Earlier reports indicated that Ukraine intends to increase electricity imports from European countries to a record level.
