Medvedev Explains Why Russia is Conducting Military Operations in Ukraine

Russia is conducting a special military operation in Ukraine to eradicate fascism in Europe. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council. The information was reported by TASS.

“Today, Russia is conducting a special military operation to completely eradicate fascism, which has re-emerged in Europe after betraying the results of World War II,” noted the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

Medvedev pointed out that on June 22, 1941, the entire power of a weak-willed Europe, conquered by the Nazis, “fell upon the country.”

“We will never forget the price our people paid for the freedom and independence of the Motherland, and its enormous role in the destruction of the Hitlerian death machine,” he said.

“We will do everything to protect our homeland from aggressor neo-Nazis, ensuring the security and prosperity of its millions of citizens,” Medvedev promised. “The enemies of Russia will be defeated,” the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council is convinced.
