Unexpected Military Readiness Check Begins in Belarus
On the morning of June 21, an unexpected check of the combat readiness of the Belarusian armed forces was announced. The exercise will involve military training grounds and areas in the Brest and Gomel regions, as reported by the country's Ministry of Defense. These two regions border Ukraine.
"The units and subdivisions of operational command, special operations forces, missile troops and artillery, Air Force, and Air Defense troops will be subject to inspection. The movement of combat equipment may occur along general use roads in this area," the military department informed.
The previous unexpected inspection in Belarus took place on May 7.
