Russian Ambassador to South Korea Summoned by Foreign Ministry After Putin-Kim Meeting
The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea, Georgy Zinovyev, has been summoned to the country's Foreign Ministry regarding a new agreement signed between the Russian Federation and North Korea, reported RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed between Russia and North Korea stipulates military assistance in the event of an attack on one of the parties. Earlier, Russian officials had stated that the document complies with all norms of international law and is not directed against any third country.
