Video: Moscow Residents Urged to Stay Indoors Due to Severe Storms

Severe storms are hitting Moscow, and city authorities do not rule out the possibility of tornadoes forming in the capital. They advise residents to refrain from going outside.

“We urgently ask city residents to avoid being outdoors. Take care of yourselves!” stated the Department of Transportation.

Yesterday, the mayor of the capital, Sergey Sobyanin, advised Muscovites not to go outside on June 20 due to the threat of serious bad weather.

This morning, parks under the jurisdiction of the mayor's office have been temporarily closed.
