Russia Comments on Armenia’s Absence at CSTO Ministerial Meeting

Russia expects that Armenia will understand that the CSTO platform provides all opportunities for cooperation in ensuring regional security. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin while commenting on Armenia's absence from the meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council of the organization, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“We hope that our Armenian partners, and we remain allies, will nonetheless understand that the most effective method of ensuring regional security is the cooperation of regional states, and the CSTO platform provides all opportunities for this,” said Galuzin.

It should be noted that earlier we reported that Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan will not participate in the upcoming meeting of the CSTO member states' foreign ministers.
