Arzvik Minasian on the Arrests of ARF Members
The authorities of the Republic of Armenia are using all possible methods against the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) to fabricate artificial and false cases. This was stated by Arzvik Minasian, a member of the ARF Central Committee, during a press conference regarding a new wave of arrests of ARF members.
"They are applying all possible mechanisms and methods in Armenia to initiate artificial and false cases; there are organized attacks on the party's regional offices. Large-scale illegal actions have been carried out, and searches and arrests have been made. At this moment, the investigative system under Nikol Pashinyan and the courts under their control have made 5 detention decisions. Of these, 4 individuals have been detained for 2 months, one for 1 month, and 3 others are under house arrest for 2 months. Furthermore, one person's pre-trial measure is bail, while another has been prohibited from leaving the country. This concerns only the members of the ARF office in Vayots Dzor region," Minasian stated.
According to him, this is a fabricated agenda created by the authorities. The deputy is confident that the ARF members are being persecuted under expressions that do not correspond to reality. Minasian emphasized that such a methodology from the authorities of the Republic of Armenia cannot have a future.
