Withdrawal from CSTO is a Decision of the Armenian Government: U.S. State Department
Withdrawal from the CSTO is a decision of the Armenian government. This was stated by the U.S. State Department, presenting Washington's position on the potential withdrawal of Armenia from the CSTO.
“This is a decision for the Armenian government, and we respect that. We have not seen anything that indicates that Russia's military presence contributes to a more peaceful and stable region in the South Caucasus,” responded the U.S. State Department to a query from the Armenian service of Voice of America.
