Traffic Situation on Armenian Roads
The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. A partial collapse has occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region, resulting in the suspension of traffic across the bridge.
According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor - Alaverdi - Ayrum - Bagratashen road is only passable for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to detour the M-6 when heading towards the Georgian border, using the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border international highways.
The M-4, Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia border road is passable from Dilijan to Ijevan. However, in certain sections, traffic is one-way.
The bridge leading to the villages of Khashtarak and LusAhovit is closed in both directions.
