Secretary of the Security Council Comments on Publication Regarding Grigoryan's Withdrawal from Ukraine Peace Summit
“Initially, only the participation of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, was planned for the ‘Ukraine Peace Summit’; no speech was scheduled,” the Security Council informed Factor.am in response to a publication by a Ukrainian media outlet claiming that Grigoryan had declined to speak at the second plenary session of the ‘Ukraine Peace Resolution Summit’ held in Switzerland.
The Council noted that the announcement regarding a speech by the Chair was a technical issue. It is worth mentioning that as a result of the ‘Ukraine Peace Resolution Summit’, a declaration was adopted. At the summit on June 16, held in Switzerland, 84 out of the 100 delegates present supported the final declaration concerning Ukraine. According to Swissinfo, Armenia is not among those countries.
