Empire of Lies: Iran's Foreign Ministry Comments on the USA

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has labeled the United States as an "empire of lies" on the X social network after U.S. President Joe Biden announced the country's aspiration to end the conflict in Gaza. Biden made this assertion in his congratulatory message on the occasion of one of the significant Islamic holidays, Eid al-Adha.

In his message related to Eid al-Adha, Biden stated, "The U.S. seeks to end the war in Gaza." The response from Iranian officials categorically dismissed his statements, calling it an example of U.S. deception.

Israel has faced an unprecedented-scale rocket attack from Gaza since October 7, 2023.
