Citizens Injured by Police Actions Have Not Received Medical Attention, Cover-Up Attempted: Bagrat Archbishop
I have called on the people to calm down because I understood well that armed troops were already stationed behind us, said Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan during a gathering on Baghramyan Avenue.
According to him, in the midst of this situation, nearly thirty grenades were thrown at the people, which, as has become clear, were expired.
The police used methods that were unacceptable. We are not interested in these buildings; I have said this many times, the people operating in these buildings should come and answer. Our goal was to block and not allow people to go about their dirty work in peace, the Archbishop stated.
He also noted that until last night, no forensic specialists had visited the citizens injured by police actions. They are trying at all costs to cover up what happened. But the faces of all those who committed violence have been identified, and we will begin legal proceedings, the Archbishop informed.
