VIDEO: Burning Plane Makes Emergency Landing in New Zealand
A burning Boeing 737 has made an emergency landing in New Zealand. Residents of Queenstown reported seeing flames and hearing loud noises. As a result, one of the engines failed.
The airline has suggested that a bird strike may be a potential cause of the emergency incident, according to 7 News.
The aircraft was redirected to another airport one hour after takeoff. There are no reports of injuries.
Earlier, media outlets indicated that Boeing's sales have declined following a series of scandals.
