VIDEO: Man with a Baton Attacks Fans Ahead of Euro 2024 Football Match

Police opened fire on a man wielding a baton who was threatening fans during Euro 2024. This information has been reported by sports.ru.

In Hamburg, where the match between Poland and the Netherlands is scheduled to take place, the man with the baton attacked the fans, according to Bild. The police later clarified that the man had threatened them as well.

Officers used firearms against him. A police spokesperson stated that the first shot was a warning. Subsequently, several shots were fired, after which the man fell to the ground. A Molotov cocktail was found in his backpack, leading the police to believe he intended to throw it into the crowd of fans.
