VIDEO: Water Committee Denies Circulating Information

The information circulating about the disaster in the Lori region, suggesting it could be a result of the collapse of the wall of the Metsavan Reservoir or preventive and emergency drainage, is not true. This was reported by the Water Committee.

"The wall of the Metsavan Reservoir, which is part of the irrigation system, is intact. Currently, the reservoir is filled and is being operated according to regulations and without any issues. Additionally, renovation works on the wall were also carried out in 2023. No preventive or emergency drainage has taken place," stated the committee's announcement.
