Ursula von der Leyen Urges Georgian Government

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and called on the Georgian government to act in accordance with the country’s EU aspirations.

“I deeply respect your commitment to Georgia’s European future. The overwhelming majority of the Georgian people support this path. We call on the Georgian government to act towards EU aspirations,” Ursula von der Leyen wrote on X.
