What 'Black Cat' Has Passed Between Ani Samsonyan and Edmon Marukyan

According to information from the newspaper 'Hraparak', a 'black cat' has passed between former MP and LHK member Ani Samsonyan and Edmon Marukyan. Samsonyan disagrees with the party's political course pursued by the president and believes that there should be a clear position in the opposition sector. She has openly supported the movement.

We were informed that weeks ago, there was a heated discussion among party activists, as a result of which Samsonyan announced her decision to leave the LHK. We asked David Khajakyan, a member of the party's political council, whether Samsonyan had submitted her resignation, and he replied that he does not comment on such information.

It is noteworthy that although the LHK met with Bishop Bagrat and participated in a joint meeting of political forces initiated by him, they had certain reservations regarding the movement. Marukyan was putting forward a precondition that there should be a declaration stating that the former members would not return if the movement succeeded, and that they would join as new members. Meanwhile, Ani Samsonyan could often be seen at the bishop's rallies.
