Ishkhan Saghatelyan on Searches in HDP Offices

Yesterday, a recording surfaced on the internet, the source of which remains unclear, prompting investigative bodies to open a criminal case. This morning, searches were initiated at the offices of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (HDP) in Vayk and Yeghenadzor. Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the HDP Bureau, shared this information during a conversation with reporters.

“Around 10 of our members in Vayots Dzor have been arrested. I can say that people have been abducted; we are having great difficulty determining their whereabouts. Even the lawyers are unable to find out, as they are trying to extract some testimonies without realizing who they are dealing with. They are not providing us with information regarding which departments our abducted friends are held in,” Saghatelyan stated.

“Our deputies are currently in the region trying to clarify the locations, but obstacles are being constantly created both for the deputies and the lawyers. It is evident that the party is being targeted; they are attempting to exert pressure through fabricated cases, but this will not affect the ARF. This is neither the last nor the first time,” Saghatelyan emphasized.
