VIDEO: Moscow Underwater

According to meteorologists, Moscow is expected to exceed its monthly precipitation norm this week. The city has been under heavy rain for the third consecutive day.

Residents of the capital have captured footage showing streets flooded in various parts of the city, with some clips revealing cars driving underwater. Deptrans is urging citizens to refrain from traveling by car and to utilize the metro instead.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced online showing the above-ground metro tracks at Moscow's 'Bagrationovskaya' station submerged under water. Traffic between the 'Bagrationovskaya' and 'Kuntsevskaya' stations on the Filyovskaya line has been suspended. Heavy rainfall also hit Moscow and the Moscow region the day before.

Witnesses have reported hail in some districts of the city. Meanwhile, residents are sharing weather footage on social media. Visibility on the city streets was nearly zero, as strong winds dispersed water flows across roads, resulting in casualties.
