Students of Istanbul Armenian School Victims of National Discrimination

On June 13, during an inter-school sports competition held at the "Beyoğlu Anadolu" school in Istanbul, representatives of the Armenian educational complex were subjected to expressions of national discrimination. This was reported by ermenihaber.am.

Specifically, during a football match between the "Getronagan" Armenian school and the "İTÜ Mesleki" and "Teknik Anadolu Lisesi" schools, the audience chanted slogans such as "migrants, get out!" The situation was addressed with the intervention of teachers and the management of "Getronagan", allowing the students of the school to continue participating in the matches organized as part of the competition.

It's worth noting that the "Getronagan" Armenian school, founded in 1886, has made significant contributions to the educational life of Istanbul for many years. It has become an educational center for Armenians.
