Iran's Response to Nuclear Developments Revealed

Tehran has taken a series of measures at its nuclear facilities in Natanz and Fordow in response to an anti-Iran resolution presented by the European Union to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors, reported Mehr agency.

Earlier, the AFP agency reported, citing diplomatic sources, that France, Germany, and Great Britain (the European Union) had officially presented a draft resolution to the IAEA Board condemning Iran's "nuclear escalation." According to Reuters, the draft resolution calls on Iran to cooperate with the IAEA and explain the presence of uranium traces in undeclared Iranian facilities.

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative in international organizations in Vienna, stated that the IAEA Board of Governors voted in favor of the resolution.

“According to reports, in response to the hostile actions of the three European countries (France, Germany, and England) concerning the adoption of the IAEA Board's resolution against the Islamic Republic of Iran, a series of measures have been taken in Natanz and Fordow,” the agency’s message stated.

Two days ago, Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani told RIA Novosti in an interview that Iran's activities are under the supervision of the IAEA, and the countries accusing Iran of having a concerning nuclear program aim to turn the IAEA into a venue for settling political scores with Tehran, thereby undermining the agency's credibility.
