During a question-and-answer session with the government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he fears that the plan of some individuals to nullify the Armenian state might become a reality. “Unfortunately, there are individuals in the country, in this hall, on this side of the fences and the other, who are deliberately pushing that agenda. Of course, there are also those who, in their own formulation, have honest motives for being there. Why shouldn’t we be afraid? Why shouldn’t we be afraid if someone is leading a country with the history that we have? Why shouldn’t we be afraid?” he said.
