Putin Thanks Turkey for Desire to Contribute to Ukrainian Conflict Resolution
Russian President Vladimir Putin has thanked Turkey for its willingness to contribute to the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. He made this statement during a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
"We acknowledge with gratitude our Turkish friends' readiness to contribute to the resolution of crisis situations, including the crisis around Ukraine," Putin said.
Putin also expressed hope to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the summit in Astana scheduled for July.
