Large-Scale Drug Smuggling Prevented at Armavir Penitentiary

Acting upon information received by the operational department of the Central Body of the Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Armenia, officers from the "Armavir" regional division conducted a search on citizen V.N., who had come for a short visit to the detained individual R.S.

As a result, the officers discovered a package concealed within the citizen's body, containing substances resembling heroin and methamphetamine, weighing 3.34 grams and 2.3 grams, respectively.

V.N. was arrested by operational officers and presented to the Investigative Division of the Armavir Regional Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, along with the discovered items.
