The Process of Initiating a No-Confidence Vote Against the Prime Minister is the First Step: Bagrat Srbuzyan

At 16:00, the meeting of the National Assembly council will be the first step in the process of initiating a no-confidence vote against the Prime Minister, as stated by Bagrat Srbuzyan in a conversation with reporters on Baghramyan Avenue.

He noted that there is currently no question of nominating a candidate for Prime Minister. “Subsequent steps will follow accordingly,” he said.

When asked whether dual citizenship would be an issue for his nomination, Srbuzyan responded, “It is not based on the rule of law, but rather on the supremacy of rights. Secondly, it is not an issue for me; what matters is achieving results. We will do everything by all means—legally and legitimately—to ensure that result is recorded. And the result is one: the removal or resignation of this individual; there is no other way.”

Bagrat Srbuzyan remarked that even though it is raining, no one has gone home, and this terrifies the authorities.

When asked if there is a guarantee that if an extraordinary meeting is called regarding the no-confidence vote against the government, the MPs from the Civil Contract party will ensure its convening, Srbuzyan answered, “We will see, it will be evident. The process is ongoing, it will continue, and we will see.”

Bagrat Srbuzyan again called on everyone to be at the Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection at 15:30.
