Iranian Side Comments on the 'Zangezur Corridor'

The Iranian side has reiterated its stance on the unacceptable nature of the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor,' demanded by Baku and Ankara.

“Tehran supports all initiatives that can contribute to the development of the region and the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Baku; however, it is opposed to any initiative that could alter the borders in the region and affect the demographic situation,” said Ali Bagheri Kani, the acting Foreign Minister of Iran, in an interview with CNN Turk.
