VIDEO: Spanish Athlete Disqualified from European Championship Bronze Medal for Premature Celebration

Spanish athlete Garcia-Caron dramatically lost the bronze medal at the European Championship taking place in Rome. The competition was held during the women's 20-kilometer race walk.

Just meters from the finish line, Garcia-Caron began to celebrate her bronze medal with the Spanish flag. However, her competitor, Ukrainian Lyudmila Olyanovskaya, overtook her and secured her position.
