Video: Intense Rainfall in Sevanavank, Gagik Surenyans Shares Footage

Intense rainfall is occurring in Sevanavank. Gagik Surenyans, deputy director of the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center, reported this on his Facebook page, sharing a video of the event.

Earlier, the Ministry of Environment of Armenia had warned that due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the region of the Black Sea, rain and thunderstorms are expected sporadically across most areas on June 8, with heavy rainfall likely in certain parts.

Reports indicate that an increase in water levels is expected in the rivers of the republic, significantly in the basins of the Debed and Akhtala rivers and the rivers on the southern shore of Lake Sevan.
