Accident in Ararat Province: Casualties and Injuries Reported

On June 8, a serious and tragic car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Around 11:30 AM, a collision took place between a 'BMW X 6' and a 'VAZ 2106' on the 1st km of the Masis-Ayntap highway, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, two individuals died instantly at the scene, while two others were transported to the 'Masis' Medical Center with injuries. The first to respond to the injured were citizens, along with the emergency services from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Masis fire and rescue unit, and the medical team from the 'Masis' Medical Center.

Emergency medical responders provided initial aid to the injured at the scene before their hospital transfer. Rescuers used specialized equipment to extract the deceased from their vehicle and subsequently transported the bodies to the morgue.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Masis Investigative Division regarding the accident. The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the drivers, deceased, and injured parties. Following the investigator's directive, the vehicles involved will be relocated to the special storage area of the Masis police station.
