«Enough with the Constant Concessions Just to Hold On to Your Chair»: Bishop Bagrat to Pashinyan
During a meeting with citizens who joined the protest in the courtyard of St. Anna Church, Bishop Bagrat addressed the latest demands from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the response from the current Armenian authorities, which he described as toothless and potentially coordinated with Azerbaijan on an internal level.
Bishop Bagrat emphasized that what is happening in Armenia is not based on negotiations, but rather on dictations, coercions, and orders coming from Azerbaijan.
“Enough with the constant concessions, enough with yielding just to maintain your chair, enough with being under orders, especially orders coming from the enemy,” Bishop Bagrat said, addressing the head of the current government, Nikol Pashinyan.
In this context, he stressed the urgency of removing those acting under the enemy's dictation. “We have no other path, they have left us no other option, and we will do this,” Bishop Bagrat stated.
