37-Year-Old Driver Crashes 'VAZ 2121' into Iron Barrier in Ararat Marz

Today, June 5, an accident occurred in the Ararat Marz. Around 10:40, Yuriy M., a 37-year-old resident of Ararat Marz, veered off the roadway while driving his 'VAZ 2121' vehicle on the road section leading to the 'Demers' area of the Karbi community, crashing into an iron barrier.

According to Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Yuriy M. and his passengers, 39-year-old Armine H. and 64-year-old Hranush M., were transported with injuries to the 'Ashtarak' medical center.

Officers from the patrol service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, deployed at the 1st platoon of the Ararat Marz battalion, arrived at the scene. Information about the accident was relayed from the Ashtarak police department to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia’s Ararat Marz investigative department, from which a group of investigators was dispatched.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated at the Ararat Marz investigative department regarding the incident.
