NATO Secretary General Admits Russia Has Strengthened Defense Industry Faster Than Expected

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has admitted that Russia has accelerated its defense industry more rapidly than anticipated. He also lamented the North Atlantic Alliance countries for losing considerable time in increasing arms production.

“It is true that Russia was able to strengthen its defense industry more quickly than we expected, and it is also true that NATO allies have spent more time increasing weapons production than necessary,” Stoltenberg stated.
