Putin on Shoigu's New Appointment

Putin has appointed Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu as the coordinator for the development of the defense-industrial complex. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

"Since there are many issues, we need to consider the profitability of production and ensure the entry of the appropriate equipment into the Ministry of Defense. It is necessary to have such an independent coordinator for this entire work, and that will be the Secretary of the Security Council," noted Vladimir Putin.
