Doctors Provide Update on Health of Man Attacked by Bear

On June 4, at 08:36, the Crisis Management Center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department received a report that a bear had injured a citizen in one of the outskirts of the village of Arates, and that assistance from rescuers was needed to approach the ambulance.

Operational groups from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the firefighting rescue squad were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the bear had injured L.V. (born in 1986) in a location known as "Khozhan" in the village of Sevajur. Rescuers assisted L.V. in reaching the ambulance, and he was hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed his health condition as satisfactory.
